What information do we collect?

Byrdhouse must receive or collect some information to operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services, including when you install, access, or use our Services.

The types of information we receive and collect depend on how you use our Services. We require certain information to deliver our Services and without this, we will not be able to provide our Services to you. For example, you must provide your email address to create an account to use our App.

If you choose not to provide the information needed to use a feature, you will be unable to use the feature. For example, you cannot use your camera and microphone within Byrdhouse if you do not permit us to access your camera and microphone.

Personal information you disclose to us

• Basic account information. To create a Byrdhouse account, you provide your name and your email address. Only other registered Byrdhouse users that you’ve invited to Byrdhouse may see your name and email.
• User Content. We collect User Content when you submit or upload it to Byrdhouse, such as when you create a room name. We use this in order to operate Byrdhouse and provide our services, ensuring the security of Byrdhouse, our website and services, maintaining back-ups of our databases, and communicating with you.
• Your captions and translations. we do not retain your captions and translations in the ordinary course of providing our Services to you. Once your captions and translations are delivered, they are deleted from our servers.
• We use transport layer protocols that are encrypted. All services that we are using to facilitate traffic for chat, captions, video, audio, and meeting notes are encrypted and HIPAA compliant.
